TNPSC Group 1 Main Exam New Pattern and Revised Syllabus Since April 2013

TNPSC Mains Descriptive Examination Latest Syllabus has been announced by TNPSC in the month of March 2013.


Exam Pattern and Scheme of Examination for TNPSC Mains Exam
General Studies Paper – I    - 300 Marks
General Studies Paper – II   - 300 Marks
General Studies Paper – III  - 300 Marks
Interview and Record          - 120 Marks
  • All papers will be degree  standard and descriptive Type
  • The question papers will be set both in Tamil and in English.
  • Candidats are allowed to answer the Main Written Examination either
  • in Tamil or in English or partly in Tamil and partly in English and are
  • also allowed to write Technical words wherever necessary in either of
  • the languages

Candidates may choose to answer EITHER the Tamil question only in Tamil OR the English question only in English. Candidates writing in English shall if they choose to answer the Tamil question, write only in Tamil

    i am preparing for tnpsc group 1 exam i have doubts regarding the group 1 exam pls tell whether the upcoming exam will based on revised syllabus based question or old pattern syllabus , and also the science portion question will be based on school level or more needed to study regarding it. And finally how to cover the current affair completely with perfect books and pls guide to me choose the perfect books for preliminary as well as main , pls reply me soon because i am preparation for exam from home , thank YOU
