High Court Orders TNUSRB to Give 5 Marks for NCC Certificate Holders

Updated on 10.09.2013

In a Judgement filed by a previous year police selection candidate, the Madras High Court has ordered the TNUSRB to add 5 Marks to the NCC Certificate holders.

Thus, we can expect this will be implemented in the upcoming TNUSRB Police Constable, Jail Warden, Fire Service, Sub Inspector Selection, Technical SI in 2013 - 2014 recruitments

i have ncc 'B' certificate only... i'm eligible for get 5 mark?

Dear Rajesh, for my knowledge, the judgement says any NCC Certificate only, there is no preference for A,B,C Certificates. Having a NCC 'C' Certificate may helpful in Army, Navy or Airforce Officer Level Entry, here mere a NCC certificate may be eligible to get 5 marks. But we have to wait till the advertisement from the TNUSRB for SI or Police Selection 2013
