Open University Degree in Government Job Promotions in Tamilnadu - Latest High Court Order

A case was filed by Mr.Venkateshan from chennai. Currently, working as a Junior Assistant in Tamilnadu Government, the applicant has requested the Government to consider his Open University Degree for the promotions. 

According to a Government Order in the year 2009, a degree course is valid only if it is done in the order of 10th ->12th->Degree .

But, Honourable Supreme court and High Court have given judgements regarding the Degree Courses obtained from Open Universities with out passing 12th exam is valid. 

The Honorable Madras High court Judges, after hearing the case, ordered the TNPSC Secretary to consider the applicant's petition and decision with in 6 weeks.
