The  Certificate Verification for the written exam cleared candidates willbe held from  15.03.2016 to 18.03.2016 at TNPSC Office, Chennai.
 20-11-2015 : The Honourable High Court Madurai Bench has sent notice to TNPSC Secretary in a case file against the TNPSC Maternal and Child Health Officer Exam 2015 . The case was  filed by a nurse working in Kadampur Government Hospital. She claims that the posts should be filled by promotion.

Salary - Rs.9300-34800 + 4700 GP ( Nearly Rs.35000/- first month salary)

Exam Date                            -   20.09.2015 (FN 10am-1pm and AN 2.30pm -4.30pm)

Other than BC/BCM/MBC/SC/ST   - 30 years

Education Qualification  (Should be qualified as on 31.07.2015)
  • B.Sc Nursing   or B.Sc Public Health Nurse
  • Should be registered under TN Nurses and Midwives act.

 TNPSC Maternal and Child Health Officer Exam Pattern  ( Total – 570 Marks)
The scheme of examination will have two Objective Type Question Papers.
  • Paper 1 – Nursing (Degree Standard) – 200 Questions – 300 Marks  (3 Hours)
  • Paper 2 – General Studies – 100 Questions – 200 Marks (2 Hours)
  • Interview    - 70 Marks
