1. Recently held  assembly elections in the 5 states ( UP, Manipur, Goa, Punjab , Uttarakhand) Goa  secured  highest NOTA ( None of the above ) 1.2 % , next comes Uttarakhand ( 1%)
2.       BSNL is going to introduce 4G soon in India  during the financial year 2017-18. For this purpose they are going to erect 28000 cell phone towers all over India.
3.     National Level Shooting Championship held at Guwahati, Assam recently.  Ashwin  Godnis ,a police man from Tamil Nadu won Silver medal  in this event. This is the first time , a Tamilan got this medal in shooting .
4.   In Manipur,  Social activist Irom  Sharmila  secured only 90 votes and lost the election, so she announced that she will be relieving from politics.

10. CRPF Soldier   Mr. Shankar ( From Thirukoilur, Villupuram district) was shot dead by the Naxalists  in  Chattisgarh.Along with him 11 others were shot dead.
