The All India Civil Services Coaching Centre run under the auspices of the Government of Tamil Nadu offers free coaching to young Graduates / Post Graduates belonging to Tamil Nadu to enable them prepare well for the UPSC-Civil Services Preliminary Examinations to be held by the UPSC on 27.06.2021. 

The All India Civil Services Coaching Centre gives free accommodation and nutritive food. It has a well equipped library and well ventilated class rooms. The Centre accepts 225 Aspirants for Full - Time residential programme and 100 Part Time Aspirants. The Centre conducts an Entrance Examination in 13 places all over Tamil Nadu on 24.01.2021 (Sunday), and invites applications Online. 

Applications are invited from candidates of Tamil Nadu, desirous to undergo free coaching for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination - 2021. Coaching will be conducted at the ALL INDIA CIVIL SERVICES COACHING CENTRE, CHENNAI-28. Those who have already undergone coaching in this Institute under regular stream for Preliminary Examination should not apply. 

1. ELIGIBILITY: 

a) Minimum Educational Qualification : The candidate must hold a degree of any recognized university. 

b) Age Limit (as on 1-8-2021 ) : 

Minimum 21 years for all candidates 

Maximum 

i) SC/ST/SC(A) candidates should not be above 37 years of age. 

ii) Differently Abled candidates from any community should not be over 

42 years. 

iii) BC/ BC (M) / MBC/DNC candidates should not be above 35 years.

 iv) General Candidates should not be above over 32 years. 

2) The existing selection procecedures and the standard operative procedures will be followed. 

The number of seats allotted for the different categories for Full-Time (Residential - Accomodation : 140 and Dayscholars :85) and Part-Time (Non-residential -100 Aspirants) are as below.

Tuition Fees for the Coaching

Full – time (Residential)“Other Community” students of residential streams will have to pay a tuition fee of Rs. 1000/- only for the entire course.

Part – time (Non – Residential)Candidates, selected for part-time course are not eligible for hostel accommodation and have to pay a nominal tuition fee of Rs. 3,000/- only for the entire course. 

Class Timings :

Full Time Classes will be conducted from morning 10am to 5pm evening. 

Part-time classes will be conducted on Week days (6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.) and Saturday & Sunday

Syllabus for the Entrance Examination

Eligible candidates will have to appear for an Entrance Examination for two hours with Objective type questions on History of India and Indian National Movement, India and World Geography, Indian Polity and Governance, Economic and Social Development, General Science, Current Events, General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate change, Basic Numeracy, Logical reasoning,
