“தேசிய ஒலிபரப்பு தினம்" ( National Broadcasting Day) - ஜூலை 23
கூ.தக. : 1927 ஆம் ஆண்டில் இந்த தினத்தில் தான் பம்பாயில் இந்திய ஒலிபரப்பு நிறுவனம் (Indian Broadcasting Company (IBC)) நாட்டில் முதல் வானொலி ஒலிபரப்பு தொடங்கியது. ஜூன் 8, 1936 இல், அதன் பெயர் அகில இந்திய வானொலியாக (All India Radio (AIR) ) மாற்றப்பட்டது.
