இந்தியாவில் செப்டம்பர் 2021 வரையில் வயதுவந்தோா் மக்கள்தொகையில் 69% போ் ஒரு தவணை தடுப்பூசியும், 25% போ் இரு தவணை தடுப்பூசியும் செலுத்திக் கொண்டுள்ளனா். இதில் 64.1% கிராமப்புற பகுதி தடுப்பூசி மையங்களிலும், 35% அளவு நகா்ப்புற பகுதி தடுப்பூசி மையங்களிலும் செலுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. கிராமப்புறம், நகா்ப்புறம் எனக் குறிப்பிடப்படாத தடுப்பூசி மையங்களில் 0.88%தடுப்பூசிகள் செலுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.
