2025-ஆம் ஆண்டு சாம்பியன்ஸ் கோப்பை போட்டியை நடத்தும் வாய்ப்பை பாகிஸ்தானுக்கு வழங்கியுள்ளது ஐசிசி. இதையடுத்து சுமாா் 20 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு அந்நாட்டில் ஐசிசியின் கிரிக்கெட் போட்டி நடைபெறவுள்ளது. பாகிஸ்தான் கடைசியாக 1996-இல் உலகக் கோப்பை போட்டியை இந்தியா மற்றும் இலங்கையுடன் இணைந்து நடத்தியிருந்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
