‘காசி தமிழ் சங்கமம்’ ( ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’) என்ற முன்முயற்சி ஐ.ஐ.டி, சென்னை மற்றும் இந்து பல்கலைக்கழகம் ஆகியவை இணைந்து காசியில் நடத்துகின்றன. தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கும், வாரணாசி என்று அலழக்கப்படும் காசிக்கும் இடையில் உள்ள ஆழமான கல்வி , பொருளாதார , சமூக மற்றும் கலாச்சார உறவுகளை பேணிக்காப்பது இதன் நோக்கமாகும். சங்கமம் நிகழ்ச்சி 16 நவம்பர் 2022 முதல் 20 டிசம்பர் 2022 வரையில் நடைபெறவுள்ளது
