75 ஆண்டு இந்திய விடுதலையின் அமிர்தப் பெருவிழாவின் கீழ், 75 கலைஞர்களுக்கு சங்கீத நாடக அகாடமி அமிர்த விருதுகளை சங்கீத நாடக அகாடமி அறிவித்துள்ளது. இந்த விருதுக்கு தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஆச்சாள்புரம் சின்னத்தம்பி( நாதஸ்வரம்), புருசை சுப்பிரமணியம் ( தெருக்கூத்து), சுந்தரேசன் ராமமூர்த்தி( நாடக நடிகர்), வி.ஏ.கே.ரங்காராவ் ( நடன இசை), பி.ரமணி (வீணை இசை), புதுச்சேரியைச் சேர்ந்த நாடக இசைக் கலைஞர் கே.எம்.சுப்பையா, பொம்மலாட்டக் கலைஞர் வீராசாமி சீனிவாசன் ஆகியோரும் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
