நகராட்சி பத்திரத்தை (municipal bond) வெளியிட்ட இரண்டாவது இந்திய நகரம் எனும் பெயரை குஜராத்தின் வதோதரா நகரம் பெற்றுள்ளது. அமெரிக்காவின் கருவூலத் துறையின் தொழில்நுட்ப உதவி அலுவலகத்தின் உதவியுடன் இந்த திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. வதோதராவில் உள்கட்டமைப்பு திட்டங்களுக்கு நிதியளிக்க இந்த பத்திரத்தின் மூலம் திரட்டப்படும் நிதி பயன்படுத்தப்படும்.
