Chennai, May 15, 2025: The Tamil Nadu government is offering free coaching classes for aspirants preparing for competitive examinations conducted by agencies such as TNPSC, SSC, IBPS, and RRB. The initiative, aimed at empowering educated youth to secure employment, will be conducted through Competitive Examination Coaching Centres in Chennai.

The coaching will be provided at two locations: Sir Thyagaraya College, Old Washermenpet, with a capacity of 500 seats, and  Presidency College Campus, Chepauk, with 300 seats. These classes are designed to support candidates from Tamil Nadu in excelling in their chosen competitive exams.

Key Details for Applicants

Application Process: Candidates can apply online at www.cecc.in from  May 16, 2025, to May 31, 2025.

Eligibility: Applicants must have passed at least Class 10 and be at least 18 years old as of January 1, 2025.

Coaching Schedule: Classes will run for six months on weekdays from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their Class 10 marks, following the state's reservation policies. Selected candidates' details will be published on **www.cecc.in**.

Start of Classes :  Coaching is set to commence in the first week of June 2025.

No food or accommodation facilities will be provided at the coaching centres.
