The teacher's eligibility test conducted in the year 2013 was prosperous enough for over 14, 000 teachers to get through the exam. Among those passing candidates, the person who holds the core of this article is Mr. Yogarajan, who hails from the southern part of Chennai. Mr. Yogarajan, an English literature graduate from a reputed institution, lost his eye-sight when pursuing his 10th standard. The Deteriorating vision changed his entire life. He joined a special school which is catering to the visually impaired and with much difficulty completed his higher-secondary education. With same vigor and enthusiasm, he continued his higher-education in the field of English Literature and also completed B.ED in 2012. It was in the same year the Tamilnadu Teachers' Recruitment Board conducted the first 2 TET examinations. Mr. Yogarajan's attempt in these examinations were not fruitful but he achieved his dream in the 2013 TET examination and got through with 114 out of 150 marks without any claim for reservation.

When asked about his preparations for the exam, Mr. Yogarajan said, 'First I must make a mention of two  eminent personalities, for their painstaking efforts in teaching me Tamil grammar. Mr. Ponnuvelu sir and Mr. Thangarasu sir were kind enough to take special setions on Tamil and gave examples from The Tholkaappiyam and so on. I am also indebted to my parents and friends for the encouragement that they continued to provide throughout the end of my examination. Coming to
the question asked... My primary source was the prescribed textbooks. We, a group of friends discussed at the end of every day whatever we studied on that particular day. We just took notes on every lessons
with a special attention.

Thanks a lot Mr. Yogarajan for sharing your views for our readers and on behalf of you and our team we wish our readers especially our budding teachers a great success in their coming eligibility test!
