09-01-2016 : Latest News about TNEB Recruitment 2016 in Dinamalar Newspaper Today. According to the newspaper, the TNEB Assitant Engineer Post Recruitment notification for filling up 375 posts was published on 28-12-2015. The remaining 1275 posts notification to be published soon. The Assistant Engineer Posts will be recruited through Anna University and all other vacancies will be filled through Madras University. The notification for other posts is expected soon.

15-12-2015 : There is a news update about TNEB Assistant Engineer and other posts exam in Dinamalar Newspaper today. According to the news, Anna University, Chennai is going to recruit 1650 vacancies in Tamil Nadu Electricity Board through a written examination. The official notification regarding this will be published with in one or two days.
Note : The Official Notification will be published soon. For age limit, qualification details, we have to wait for the notification.

Assistant Engineer (Electrical) - 300
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) - 25
Assistant Engineer (Civil) - 50
Technical Assistant (Electrical) - 500
Technical Assistant (Mechanical) - 25
Junior Assistant - 100
Kanakkeettaalar- 250
Auditor - 25
Steno - 25
Tester - 100
Typist - 200
Total Number of Vacancies - 1650

09-11-2015 : Tamilnadu Electricity Board is a Tamil Nadu Government Undertaking Organisation. There are about 1.38 Lakh approved posts in the TNEB department. The government of Tamilnadu has decided to fill up about 1950 vacancies this year. The notification is expected to be published after Diwali .
