The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially announced the results of the Group 1 Mains examination for high-ranking state services.
A total of 78 posts are being filled, including Deputy Collector (28), Deputy Superintendent of Police (7), Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (19), Assistant Director of Rural Development (15), District Employment Officer (3), and Assistant Commissioner of Labour (6).
The Preliminary exam was held on June 15, where 1,86,128 candidates appeared. Out of these, 1,801 were shortlisted for the Mains exam held from December 1 to 4.
A list of 160 candidates has been released for the next stage. The Certificate Verification and Oral Test (Interview) are scheduled to begin on April 15 and 16, 2026.
The notification also covers Group 1A services (Assistant Conservator of Forests - 2 posts).
The list of register number of candidates who have been provisionally admitted to Physical Certificate Verification and Interview for appointment by direct recruitment to the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination-I (Group-I Services) based on the results of the Main Examination conducted by the Commission from 01.12.2025 to 04.12.2025 FN and other conditions stipulated in the said notification, is mentioned below. The Physical Certificate Verification and Interview for the said recruitment will be held on 15.04.2026 and 16.04.2026 at the office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC Road, Chennai-600 003.
