14-07-2014 : Tamilnadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB ) has published the Recruitment Notification for BT Assistant Vacancies (Paper 2) and TNTET Paper 2 Provisional Mark List . Now its burning topic among TNTET Paper 1 Aspirants "When the Paper 1 Final Mark list and Vacancy Notification announced ? and How many vacancies will be in Paper 1 Recruitment ?"
Here I am answering your questions ,  on 12-07-2014, Hon'ble Minister has said that with in 15 days  about 18,000 teachers posts will be filled.  As a surprise for TNTET Paper 2 candidates, the TRB has now published the Recruitment Notification and Provisional Mark List today. Now we can expect the Paper 1 Recruitment Notification and Provisional Mark List with in this week end.  But still there is no official news from TRB in this regard.

How many vacancies for TNTET Paper 1 ?

I will answer this question also based on hints from Hon'ble Minister's speech. The Minister informed there will be about Total 18,000 vacancies . Now 10726 BT Assistant Posts are called for, so we can expect about 8000 vacancies for TNTET Paper 1 Posts.
