161-வது வருமான வரி தினம் (Income Tax Day) - ஜீலை 24 அன்று அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது.
கூ.தக. : இந்தியாவின் முதல் வருமான வரிச் சட்டம் பிப்ரவரி 1860 இல் ஜேம்ஸ் வில்சன் (பிரிட்டிஷ் இந்தியாவின் முதல் நிதி மந்திரி) என்பவரால் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. இந்தச் சட்டம் 24 ஜீலை 1860 அன்று கவர்னர் ஜெனரலின் ஒப்புதலைப் பெற்று உடனடியாக நடைமுறைக்கு வந்தது.
