உலகப்புகழ் பெற்ற அலங்காநல்லூர் ஜல்லிக்கட்டு போட்டியில் 21 காளைகளை பிடித்த கருபாயூரணி கார்த்திக் முதலிடம் பிடித்தார்.18 காளைகளை பிடித்த அலங்கா நல்லூரை சேர்ந்த ராம்குமார் 2 ஆம் இடத்தையும், சித்தாலங்குடி கோபால கிருஷ்ணன் 13 காளைகளை அடக்கி 3 ஆம் இடத்தையும் பிடித்தனர்.
