ஓராண்டுக்குப் பதில் இனி 3 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை வணிக உரிமத்தைப் புதுப்பித்தால் போதும் எனவும், வணிகர்களின் இறப்புக்கு வழங்கப்படும் குடும்ப நல நிதியை ரூ.1 லட்சத்திலிருந்து ரூ.3 லட்சமாக உயர்த்தியும் தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது. தமிழ்நாடு வணிகர் சங்கங்களின் பேரமைப்பு சார்பில் 39-வது வணிகர் தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு திருச்சியில் நடைபெற்ற 'தமிழக வணிகர் விடியல் மாநாட்டின்' போது முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் அவர்கள் இந்த அறிவிப்புகளை வெளியிட்டார்.
