TNPSC Group 2 Mains Exam will be conducted on 23rd February 2018. 15194 candidates have been selected for Mains Exam. Candidates are asked to upload their certificates and other documents from 24th December 2018 - 10th January 2019.

As a major change in the TNPSC Group 2 Mains Exam Pattern, from this year onwards TNPSC Group 2 Mains Examination will have Single General Studies Paper containing Descriptive Type Questions. (Last year the Group Two Interview Posts question paper was a combination objective type questions and descriptive type questions)

09-07-2018 : Group 2 Notification with in couple of days - Tamil Hindu News Today. According to the news published by the Tamil Hindu Newspaper dated 09-07-2018, the notification for the TNPSC Group II 2018 Exam for filling up about 2500 vacancies is expected to be published with in one or two days. It is also stated that, the existing pattern will be continued in the upcoming Group 2 Exam.

As per the Annual Planner (2018) Published by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), the Group II Interview Posts Examination Notification will be published on first week of May 2018. TNPSC has informed in its annual planner published earlier in this year 2016 , the TNPSC Group Two 2015 Result will be published in the first week of March 2016. There are already 9 months over and if the preliminary exam result is published , there will be time for Mains Examination and interview followed by it. The Hindu news article compares TNPSC Exams with UPSC and SSC and states UPSC and SSC Examinations are conducted asper the Annual Planner and they publish the results also according to the annual planner and criticizes long delay in publishing results by TNPSC.
The news says, TNPSC had informed last month (March 2016) that the TNPSC Group Two Interview Posts Exam Results are ready to be published and will be published soon. Since TNPSC is a constitutional boday, the election codes will not control it from publishing the results.

TNPSC has recently published the some important Exam announcement like TNPSC Group 2A Non Interview Exam 2015 for 1, 863 vacancies on 12th October 2015. A supplementary notification for TNPSC Group 2A Examination 2015 was published 20th October 2015, by which additionally 84 posts were added with the Group 2A 2015 Exam. Now the total number of posts in the TNPSC Group 2A Exam became 1947 . Among the total number of TNPSC Group II A 2015 vacancies, Engineering Graduates can apply about Thousand Five Hundred Plus Group 2A Assistant Posts in various Government Departments which have educational qualification as any degree completed.

TNPSC Combined Civil Services Examination-II (Group 2 Interview Posts) 2013 - 2014 Main Examination was conducted on 8,9 November 2014. Based on the Group 2 Mains examination marks, an interview was conducted for the candidates from 17th July 2015 to 27th July 2015 at the TNPSC Office, Chennai. TNPSC recently published the Mains and Interview Marks list of candidates. Now counselling for the 1136 vacancies in the TNPSC Group Two Interview posts is scheduled to be conducted from 24-08-2015 to 01-09-2015. 28-03-2015 : Candidates in TNPSC Group 2 Exam (Interview Posts Exam 2013-14) final Interview will be called in 1:2 ratio - Clarification from TNPSC.
Tamilnadu Public Service Commission ( TNPSC ) has announced Certificate verification for the TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts 2013-2014 Examination. The certificate verification is scheduled to be conducted in the TNPSC Office, Chennai from 26-03-2015 to 08-05-2015. The candidates were called for the certificate verification in 1:5 ratio . It has created little confusion among the candidates, now the TNPSC Secretary has clarified that based on the certificate verification, the candidates will be called for the final interview in 1:2 ratio .

Certificate verification for the TNPSC Group 2 will be conducted in the TNPSC Office, Chennai from 26.03.2015 onwards.
List of Original Certificates to be submitted during the time of TNPSC Group 2 Examination 2013-2014 Certificate Verification
- Date of Birth Certificate - SSLC / HSC or Transfer Certificate
- Educational Qualification - SSLC , HSC, Degree Certificate and Consolidated mark sheet
- Tamil Qualification CertificateSSLC / PUC / HSC/ Degree
- PSTM Certificate (Persons Studied in Tamil Medium Certificate) -Only for the candidates who claim reservation under PSTM (Person Studied in Tamil Medium) quota. They should have completed the Degree in Tamil Medium. (The prescribed PSTM Certificate form is available in the TNPSC Website in the following link

During the visit to the TNPSC Child Development Officer examination centre at chennai yesterday (15-02-2015) , the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Chairman has informed that the TNPSC Group Two Interview Posts Mains Exam 2014 Result will be published with in two weeks.

Now the TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts 2013 - 2014 recruitment process is not fully completed. TNPSC has to publish the result of the main examination and following that there will be interview and counnselling.
Tamilnadu Public Service Commission may start the TNPSC Group Two Interview Posts Exam 2014-2015 recruitment process with in the end of the year 2014 itself. So it is expected the next TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts Announcement may out with in this December 2014 .

TNPSC is always giving the same answer " Result is in process, once the process is over, we will publish the results in the site"
How many more days will they take for releasing the result?????
Many Lakhs government is spending for giving salary to Honourable chairman and members?
What is the use???????
No day has passed without thinking about Group2 result in the past 778 days (from the day preliminary was conducted)
embarrassed every day, hoping for the result.
Never expected this from Dr.Arul Mozhi sir(Chairman)
I still remember the day when sir was appointed as chairman.
I felt so happy that TNPSC is in clean hands.
But everything turned wrong(not in terms of corruption)
Delaying the result without giving any proper reason.
If unable to process the descriptive sheets soon, then why to conduct descriptive pattern exam.
For B.T Assistant and P.G. Assistant …
