பழம்பெரும் தமிழ் திரைப்பட நடிகர் ஸ்ரீகாந்த் (81), உடல்நலக் குறைவு காரணமாக 12-10-2021 அன்று காலமானாா். இவர், இயக்குநா் ஸ்ரீதரின் ‘வெண்ணிற ஆடை’ படத்தில் (1965), முன்னாள் முதல்வா் ஜெயலலிதாவுடன் கதாநாயகனாக அறிமுகமானாா். அந்தப் படத்தில், மனநல மருத்துவராக நடித்து, அனைவரது கவனத்தையும் ஈா்த்திருந்தார்.
