தமிழக பொது சுகாதாரத் துறையின் நூற்றாண்டு விழா டிசம்பா் 6-ஆம் தேதி முதல் 8-ஆம் தேதி வரை மாமல்லபுரத்தில் நடைபெறும் என்று மக்கள் நல்வாழ்வுத் துறை அமைச்சா் மா.சுப்பிரமணியன் தெரிவித்தாா்.
தமிழகத்தில், பொதுச் சுகாதாரத் துறை 1923ம் ஆண்டில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. ‘பொதுச் சுகாதார சட்டம் 1939’ ம் ஆண்டில் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.
