The Hon'ble Madras High Court, in Writ Appeal No. 590/2023 and related batch cases, had directed the Tamil Nadu Transport Department to decide on the retrospective renewal of automobile workshops. Additionally, TNPSC was instructed to publish the examination results based on the Transport Department's decision.
However, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has imposed a stay on the Madras High Court's order regarding the retrospective renewal of automobile workshops. The Tamil Nadu Transport Department is currently taking further action in connection with the Supreme Court case. Consequently, there may be a delay in the release of the Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-II examination results.
