Update 19-06-2014  : Revenue Department has informed 100 % actions are taken  on all petitions received through AMMA Scheme. This information was conveyed by Hnble Minister Udhayakumar.

The department has received total 33.14 lacs petitions from the public of 16.671 villages and almost all the petitions are solved by the officials.

What is AMMA Thittam ?

 ‘Assured Maximum Service to Marginal People in All Villages’, or AMMA

 When was AMMA Thittam Started in Tamilnadu ?

 Amma Thittam was started in Tamilnadu on 24.02.2013 by Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Selvi. Jayalalithaa. This is an Revenue Department Scheme. In short the revenue officials will meet the people in a panchayat union on a particular day to receive and redress grievances of the people.

 AMMA Thitta Mugams (AMMA Scheme Camps )

 As part of this scheme, revenue officials would camp in a panchayat union on a particular day and redress the grievances of the people. The timings will be Morning 10.00 am to Evening 5 pm.

 What are the Petitions can be given in AMMA Thittam Camps ?

 1.Patta Transfers ( With out Sub Division related )
2.Ration Cards  - Corrections
3.Birth / Death Certificates
4.Community Certificate / Income Certificate / Nativity Certificate / Residential Certificates
5.Legal heir certificates
6.Fist Graduate Certificate
7.Two Girl Children only certificate
8.Old Age Pension
9.Certificates to farmers

And more.

Most of the above said certificates will be issued on the spot, and issues will be settled immediately by the respective officials.

    நான் ஒரு மூத்த குடிமகன்,வயது 78- மூப்பினால் பல வியாதிகளால் ( மாரடைப்பு,சர்ர்க்கரை வியாதி,நடக்க இயலாமை,அடிக்கடி மயக்கம் வருதல்) அவதிப்பட்டு வருகிறேன். எனது துணைவியாருக்கும் இதே பிரச்சினை.வயதோ 73. எனக்கு உத்திரமேரூரில் சாலவாக்கம் பஞ்சாயத்தில் 7200 சதுர அடி விவசாய நிலம் உள்ளது. பட்டாமாற்றம் செய்ய " அம்மா திட்டத்தில்" நேரிடையாக சென்று மனு சமர்ப்பிக்க ஏதேனும் சலுகை பெற முடியுமா? அரசாணை 210 என்பது என்ன?
    முதலமைச்சரின் தனிப்பிரிவுக்கு மனு எனது இடர்பாடுகளை விளக்கி அனுப்பியதில்,அதை கவனிக்காமல் நேரில் சென்று 'அரசாணை எண் 210"கூறியவாறு எல்லா ஆவண நகல்களை இணைத்து மனு கொடுக்க அறிவுரைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனக்கு அரசாணை எண் 210 நகலை அனுப்பி உதவ முடியுமா? நன்றியுடன் பதிலுக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.
