We received hundreds queries asking "can a person with FIR filed can apply and be selected for Police Constable, Sub Inspector or any of the TNUSRB services ?
The question is partly answered in the following article. Rule 14 (b) (iv) of the Tamil Nadu Special Police Subordinate Service Rules, 1978, bans a person from getting police job through TNUSRB , if a candidate has a criminal record during verification of a candidate's antecedents. 27-10-2015 : Tamilnadu Sub Inspector Exam 2015 News Updates : SI Selection Physical Test was conducted for only one women candidate as per High Court Order.
The special physical test was conducted for a women candidate Ms.Poongothai, daughter of a retired Sub Inspector. She have cleared the written exam already under General Category . But she was rejected for the Police Quota saying married women cannot avail the police quota. But Honourable High Court has ordered the TNUSRB to conduct physical test.
In the physical test, Mrs.Poongothai has successfully completed the 400 metre running. If she succeed in the upcoming tests, she will be called for the interview at chennai.
28-08-2015 :Police Department ManiaKorikkai will be on 22-09-2015 -Tamilnadu Assembly Sessions starts today (24-08-2015). Police Department ManiaKorikkai is scheduled to be conducted on 22nd September 2015. There may be some announcements regarding upcoming TNUSRB Police Constable / Sub Inspector recruitments in Tamilnadu. TNUSRB has successfully conducted the Sub Inspector 2015 Written Exam and Physical Test and interview for the same is scheduled to conducted in the September 2015. 04-09-2015 : TNUSRB Sub Inspector Exam Interview started . The candidates cleared the physical test were called for Interview in the 1:5 ratio. The interview was started yesterday (03-09-2015). Interview is conducted for 50 persons a day.

We received hundreds queries asking "can a person with FIR filed can apply and be selected for Police Constable, Sub Inspector or any of the TNUSRB services ?
The question is partly answered in the following article. Rule 14 (b) (iv) of the Tamil Nadu Special Police Subordinate Service Rules, 1978, bans a person from getting police job through TNUSRB , if a candidate has a criminal record during verification of a candidate's antecedents.
